Story

The film "kirtan" ended where the father in law abinash and the daughter in law monimala along with her husband arup decide to move to a flat after selling off their ancestral old house. The story of "kirtan er por kirtan" starts from here. The quarrel between abinash and monimala doesn't stop after coming to the flat. They contest against each other in the society election. After some funny instances, they face a situation where they have to leave the complex and again decide to move to house. When abinash gets nostalgic and goes to find out his old house's condition, he finds that a lady tenant resides over there. Now, the story takes a hilarious turn. The quarrel between abinash and monimala increases and arup acts like a pendulum. Whether the story ends with a funny note or some emotional turmoil gets in between, is what the rest of the story deals with.
